Hello Letters to Lesotho Family,
I have been up to so much at the site that I haven’t had much time to write. As of now, I am over the Girls Empowerment Club, the Computer Club, Co-Coaching Sports, and teaching grades 4 and 5. I go home very tired! I’m not complaining, though, because I like having things to do. Us, volunteers, also had a small crisis and were thrust into about a week of stress. More on that soon! So here are some photos from the last few weeks! I’ll be posting about my clubs and sports next week!
Until then, enjoy!!! 💓

This week, I had my first observation from the Peace Corps since teaching. Safe to say, I was nervous. Now that it’s done, I wonder what I was so nervous about? It was an amazing lesson on adjectives that the learners loved and were receptive to. My co-teacher and I received wonderful marks, and I ended that day feeling rejuvenated! Thumbs up for a great day!
Featured in this picture are students from the upper grades who joined me on my 2-mile run!! “Madam Kenny, where are you going?”

Girls Club!!! What makes you happy?

Sports have started! This was the first day of track at the field. The girls were preparing to run a 400m race. I have been challenged to race the senior girls, so I will be coming out of retirement soon! Hahahaha.

It is currently corn season, so I have been eating a lot of delicious corn!
Talk to you later!! 🌟
